Elves busy preparing for Christmas Concert

Our wonderful elves were busy at work preparing for our Christmas concert! We had elves working on decorations, fixing and painting our sleigh, fixing our stage lights, preparing our sound system, and teaching our children songs and moves.  Please continue to support our food drive and the Giving Tree.  Thank you to all.  See you at the concert!

Henry Agassi presented to grade 6 students

On November 6, the Grade 6 students had the honour of hosting Henry Agassi as their guest speaker. Mr Agassi shared his story of how he grew up in Nigeria with tough conditions and his journey  as he immigrated to Canada. This helped to enrich our Social Studies unit on Heritage and Citizenship, in terms of how our identity is formed and shaped.

Dairy Farmers of Ontario Visit Good Shepherd

This week the primary students participated in an interactive presentation put on by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario. Using milk as a learning vehicle, students gained further knowledge while developing skills that will help them become better decision makers when it comes to healthy eating.
