Grade 1/2 Class Enjoys Cooking Pizza

Mrs. Parke’s class won a free cooking class for raising the most money from Epicure Sales.  They spent the morning making mini pizzas and will enjoy eating them together as a class.  Thank you to all the parents who supported this fundraiser.  The students had an amazing day!

Lovely Final Mass Together

Our Good Shepherd Community came together to enjoy our last mass for this school year.  The talented choir led by Mr. Scarmato and Mrs. MacLeod were accompanied by our students playing our new orff instruments.  They sounded amazing!  Our mass was led by Mrs. Orr’s grade 2/3 class and two intermediate students assisted with readings as well.  At the end Mrs. Ferri-Violante presented a beautiful ... Canada 150 Celebrations

Good Shepherd School continues celebrating Canada’s 150 birthday by creating 150 random acts of kindness, decorating classroom doors, and playing Canadian games which students made themselves.  Students enjoyed creating these board games using all their Canadian knowledge.  Sydney, a grade 5 student, shared, “it was fun making the games because we got to spend time with our friends, and we got to look up interesting ... Flood Warning

The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority  (LSRCA) has issued the following Flood Watch due to the rainfall overnight and forecasted rain.  “The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority advises that flooding is currently occurring in a number of locations throughout the watershed due to a large amount of rainfall overnight.  Saturated ground conditions in combination with the rainfall is causing flooding in low lying and flood prone

Pizza-Q huge Success

We are very grateful to the CSC for organizing this wonderful event.  The gourmet pizzas were amazing!  I tried the vegetarian that had zucchini, feta cheese and broccoli….yummy is all I can say!  Despite the rain, families came out to support this event!
