Physical Fitness Friday

Today, Good Shepherd students from kindergarten to grade 8 enjoyed a physically active morning.  The grades 1-8 went skating at EG Arena while the kindergartens went to the Play Lounge.  All had an amazing time and came back tired!  Thank you to all the parents who came to watch at the two different venues!  Don’t forget we will have a family skate night on April ... Stay Away from Streams & Waterways

“The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority advises that localized flooding may occur due the forecasted rainfall coupled with the amount of melting ice and snow entering storm drainage systems, which will increase the potential for blockage and ice jams, especially in the vicinity of culverts and bridges. Watercourses will be flowing higher than normal causing local streams and rivers to become dangerous, especially in the vicinity

Physical Friday!

Our grades 1-8 students will be skating tomorrow morning.  Please remember to send your child with snow pants, coat, gloves, helmets, and skates.  They will be shuttled back and forth to the event.  Parents are welcome to join us!

The kindergartens will also have a fun filled morning at a play centre!  They are excited to participate in this event!

Ash Wednesday

Father Roy came to lead us in our lenten journey and help distribute ashes to all that attended our service.  Mr. Freeman’s class with the help of the grade 8s led our prayers while our choir led by Mrs. MacLeod sang meaningful songs.  Thank you to all!

African Drumming and Character Development Assembly

We were very excited to welcome Baba Williams to our school today!  His performance, teaching style, inspirational story and message of community had a positive impact on each and every person who watched the performance.  Students were engaged from beginning to end in this interactive assembly as they all joined in song and played instruments together.
