Dear Parents/Guardians,
Another successful week of on line learning is concluding. I have been thrilled to hear many success stories of how well things are going with our new learning format. It has been a big change for everyone and I thank you for all of your hard work!
Over the next few weeks, we will be sending home refunds for families who sent funds in for hot lunch. These refunds will be mailed to you. Any cheques that were sent in will be voided and not cashed. I thank you for your patience and understanding.
Below is a prayer that is very fitting for the times we are in. Please remember all of the victims of the tragedy that occurred in Nova Scotia, for the province as a whole and for everyone in our world that is experiencing loss and tragedy.
Holy God
who created us for and from love
in this time of social distancing
hold us close in your arms.
Comfort those who are afraid,
enliven those who are bored,
give courage to those who are distressed,
and warm those who feel the cold touch of loneliness.
Breathe in, with and through us
as we walk through uncertainty into a new future
knowing that you are with us now and await us there.
