Catholic Education Week and Happy Mothers Day!

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

This has been a wonderful Catholic Education Week, with still more to come tomorrow. Certainly a highlight was the Mass celebrated by His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins yesterday. I am sure we were all moved by his words: “See the Lord more clearly, Love the Lord more dearly, Follow the Lord more nearly”.

I would like to thank our staff, students, and families for all of your hard work this past week in making Catholic Education Week such a success in these very challenging times.

Below is a prayer for Mothers as we approach this most important day

Loving God,

On this Thursday before Mothers Day,

We rejoice and proclaim the goodness of mothers.

We give thanks for all they do to nurture our hope.

We ask you to bless all mothers:  expectant mothers, birth mothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, those who fill in for mothers and those who play mothering roles in our lives.  May we continue to  be joyfully grateful for the women who have profound influence on our lives, both past and present. We ask this in the name of Jesus your Son, through Mary our Mother.  Amen.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Friday, weekend and Mothers Day!

Mr. Amos
