Dear Parents/ Guardians,
I am very pleased to share with you that Mara Damiano has been appointed the new principal of Good Shepherd CES for the next school Year. Mrs. Damiano comes to Good Shepherd CES with years of experience, creativity and dedication. I know Mrs. Damiano will enjoy her time here at Good Shepherd as much as I have. In the days ahead, Mrs. Diamiano and I will set everything in order for a smooth start in September.
This Sunday is Fathers Day and I share with you the prayer below as I myself give thanks for my father and all he means to me.
God our loving father,
today we give thanks for the goodness of fathers.
We ask you to bless all fathers: expectant fathers, birth fathers, new fathers, adoptive fathers, foster fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, teachers; those who fill in for fathers and those who play fathering roles in our lives.
Bless in particular all the men who lead and serve, teach and learn in our schools.
May we continue to be joyfully grateful for the men who have profound influence on our lives, both past and present.
We ask this in the name of Jesus your Son, Amen.
