Planting for Spring

Good Shepherd has been busy planting flowers in our school yard.  If you would like to share some of your perennials with us, feel free to bring them to school and our “gardeners” will ensure we plant them.  Thank you to all who have sent some in the past.

Thirsty Thursdays

Good Shepherd Community is doing their part every Thursday by using reusable water bottles.  Most classes had full class and staff participation in this eco initiative.  Keep up the great work!

Good Shepherd Recognizes Earth Day

Good Shepherd recognizes Earth day by participating in a school wide presentation on how they could be stewards of the Earth.  They are undertaking various projects.  Students are recycling their food scrapes as they will again this Tuesday, and participating in Waste-Free lunches on several days a week.  In Addition, the Eco teams are promoting Thirsty Thursdays where all students are asked to bring in ... Oral Presentations Today

Our school community enjoyed listening to our grades 4 to 8 students as they presented their speeches.  We had 8 students representing the junior division and 4 students representing the intermediates.  All the speeches were fabulous making it a tough job to judge the speeches.

Stations of the Cross ~ Beautiful Reflection for all!

Congratulations to all our students from various grades who portrayed the stations of the cross so effectively.  The music, script, acting, lighting and performance gave all much to think about while watching the story of Jesus at this most important time.  Thank you to all who participated and to Mrs. Geoffrey for organizing and leading this event.
