Henry Agassi presented to grade 6 students

On November 6, the Grade 6 students had the honour of hosting Henry Agassi as their guest speaker. Mr Agassi shared his story of how he grew up in Nigeria with tough conditions and his journey  as he immigrated to Canada. This helped to enrich our Social Studies unit on Heritage and Citizenship, in terms of how our identity is formed and shaped.

Dairy Farmers of Ontario Visit Good Shepherd

This week the primary students participated in an interactive presentation put on by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario. Using milk as a learning vehicle, students gained further knowledge while developing skills that will help them become better decision makers when it comes to healthy eating. Lego Club beginning

Assembly Celebrating Virtue of Compassion

Today we had a lovely virtue assembly led by Mrs. DiSera and grade 8 students.  Many students from kindergarten to grade 8 were recognized for their virtue of Compassion.  Ethan in grade 7 was given the Eco Ambassador Award for the month of November for all his contributions in helping us with eco friendly initiatives.  Max in grade 2 was Caught being Good and was ...
